Overview
OptiMOS™ IPOL 30 A single – voltage synchronous buck regulator
The IR3889 OptiMOSTM IPOL is an easy-to-use, fully integrated DC-DC buck regulator. The onboard PWM controller and OptiMOS™ MOSFETs with integrated bootstrap diode make the IR3889 a small footprint solution, providing high-efficient power delivery. Furthermore, it uses a fast Constant-On-Time (COT) control scheme, which simplifies the design efforts and achieves fast control response.

- Precision reference voltage (0.8 V +/- 0.5%)
- Enhanced fast COT engine stable with ceramic output capacitors and no external compensation
- Optional forced continuous conduction mode and diode emulation for enhanced light load efficiency
- Programmable switching frequency from 600 kHz to 2 MHz
- Monotonic start-up with four selectable soft-start time & enhanced pre-bias start-up
- Thermally compensated internal over-current protection with four selectable settings
- Enable input with voltage monitoring capability & power good output
- Thermal shut down
- Operating temperature: -40°C < Tj < 125°C
- Small size: 5 mm x 6 mm PQFN
- Lead-free, halogen-free and RoHS2 compliant with Exemption 7a
